Aquamarine is a transparent light blue or green gemstone, and is a member of the beryl family. It is easy to clean aquamarine gemstones with gentle and deliberate action because of its relative hardness.
1. Find a small bowl to fill with warm water. Do not use hot water since the rapid temperature shift can cause thermal shock.
2. Add one pump of mild liquid soap or special cleaner solution to the warm water and mix them.
3. Place the aquamarine gemstone in the soapy water and leave it rinse for five minutes.
4. Use a toothbrush to scrub the stone gently and making sure to scrub all facets and corners.
5. Dry and polish the stone with the soft polishing towel.
