The first, you should ask the retailer diamond testing report, because if the diamond was sold, it has been tested and graded by an experience gemologist who publishes the certificate for diamonds.
The second: you should learn about the property of the four C's.
1. C represents the cut of diamond. The depth cut of a diamond is from 58 to 68 percent, the point should be remembered.
2. C is the color; you will find the color ranges from transparent to yellow. Because the most expensive, it has less color. The grades for color given by the gemologist are from D to Z.
3. D stands for the colorless, but the Z represents yellow color. The clarity of the diamond is graded by the flaw or inclusion present in the diamond.
4. C stand for the carat weight. If the weight is heavier then the diamond is more valuable, but the clarity will be lesser.
